Writer's Conference
I just got back from the LDStoryMaker's Conference and I'm ready to kick butt! Or rather I'm ready to put my butt in this not so comfortable chair and keep it there while I work on my next manuscript! After all, "The art of writing is the art of applying the seat of the pants to the seat of the chair." -Vorse, Mary Heaton.
The writer's conference was fantastic and I gathered some golden nuggets of information in every class. I had several favorite classes; one of which was: There's A Bomb Under The Table: How To Write Thrills, Chills, and Suspense by Dan Wells. He is so informative and hilarious at the same time! What can I say? I just love to be entertained while I learn.
StoryMaker's http://ldstorymakers.com/ did a great job and Sarah M. Eden (she's so funny!) was a great MC!
Overall, I came home with more knowledge which I am eager to apply to my writing, and some much needed inspiration.
Batteries Recharged! Now I'm ready to WRITE!
